“Whatever you dream of….Do It. Never Underestimate What You Do.”Who did those words come from? The Mouth of Prince Jones. You may know him for his Spaced out Music, Spaced out Style, His Crew, and where he’s from. But There are many Things Mysterious about The NERD. Things even you the reader wouldn’t even imagine. No. The freed Mind used to be clouded with Pain and Suffering. The freed Mind used to be Barred down with Darkness, Unhappiness, sunrise and sunsets. No. The Freed Mind Used to be a slave mind. Ruled By Evil. Yes Evil. Your probably thinking why should I be reading this all about one person? Why? You Ask? This is the one time Prince has Told everything about his life some his own mother doesn’t know. So consider yourself lucky. But Before I Start That Story I will begin this story…..the Story Of Prince Jones…The Date?December 31st 1991The Time?2:28 a.mWhere?New York CityBoroughOf ManhattanTo Whom?Jerusha Rene JonesIt was cold ….it was snowing…it’s a Boy…He’s going to be special his mother said the day he first came into her arms…Singing softly to him under her breath A song By Tribe Called Quest The words Held True like a blessing. 6 months later the boy was walking.” Strong Legs He got” His Mother said. Distant Memories of playing pat cake with his mom in front of his aunts building are one of his earliest.8 months old he was speaking fluently like he was 10 years old. As a baby Jones didn’t cry much. The same is in his whole life. It has always been hard for him to cry. At 1 year old he was a walking talking, young boy, with braids in his hair, and Jordans on his feet. He was happy. Days went past, memories are clouded, and before he knew it Jones was 2 years old. The year everything changed. Problems aroused. Words were exchanged. Deeds were done. And 2 tickets for Oakland, CA were purchased. Jones & His Mother Boarded a Plane and Not knowing what was going on. Entered a whole new life….The Biggest Change…That would Train Jones mind into becoming Free…It was then the low down, but dangerously soothing streets of Oakland, CA brought out a part of the young Prince That still Keeps him to this day. Lining in a hotel staying at places with long lines, they weren’t doing so good. Place after place after place they went. And it went on like that for some time a year and a half to be exact. And Jones was 3 going on 4, a quiet now sharp boy , who understood everything. It was only one person who got stuff past him. His mother. Still living in a hotel Jones had a hobby he would go outside and look up into the sky…The night sky and stare at the stars. It was then His obsession with Space Began. At night he dreamed of it never knowing why, but at the same time did not care. Time flied by and 2 years later Jones and his mom had a house, a car, and little sister by the name of Tamara. Now on the brink of Prince Jones progression inside school. His mom made him skip pre-k and home schooled him to the point that he knew more than most 7 year olds and Jones was 5 going on 6. Whatever became of school Prince loved it. Learning, writing, reading, everything about it. But at the same time he was a bad ass and got into trouble all the time. To make time go ahead 1st grade came with flourishes. Outside school, Jones would go home and sit on the front stair. Coincidece, you might ask, Fate we may say that Prince had a new obsession- Skateboards. There was this dude by the name of Alex. The type of nice, white, encouraging dude. The nicest street skater Jones ever seen to this day. But, back to reality, Jones asked Alex about skateboards Alex said, “ Here, try it out”. Prince stepped on the board and slipped and bust his ass. Alex didn’t laugh. “Keep trying”… Second time, fell. Third time, fell. “I don’t wanna”, “Go Ahead… You Can Do It”. “O.K”
Fourth, fell. The Fifth time he could ride and Jones keep on till he knew how to shred with no tricks. “Good” Alex would say, “ Tomorrow I’m gonna teach you a new trick”. And, from then on, Jones was a street skater. Whatever anyone said things charged again. Prince hung out with people older than him and he became cool and it was in that mix girl stood out to Prince…. “wow”… “she’s beautiful”… 7 years old hanging with people 15 years and older. Never stayed with kids his age. Older girls, Older dudes. Skaters. No one his age. But it wasn’t with his skate group. Jones would be in front of his house skating by himself until night and that s when he sat on his back to the sky and the stars and the moon and wished upon the stars and space. Life was good and nothing could change it. And one night, a dream came to him. The dream that inspired him. No. He would never forget this dream. Under a night sky full of spaceships and satellites. Prince saw a big house under Hollywood. “ wow” and things were strangely comfortable. Then, he saw himself standing in front of the house . A very much older self holding the hand of a child with a high top fade. He was speaking to Jones. No. The Jones was speaking to himself.“ Hey, Youngin” “Hi’“ Do something for me” “what”“Never underestimate what you do”“Why”“Cause, it’ll make you someday”“Ok”“Seriously”“Ok”“The young boy must pursue a street dream”“What?”“You heard me” And he woke up. The dream is still vivid in his mind. He never forgot it. But the most ironically 2 weeks after the dream Jones’ mother, him and his sister were being thrown out their house and they were forced to live in a hotel with no money, no job and only worldly processions that they owned which included Jones’ skateboard and bike which made him different from everyone. But , later on they were forced to sell all their stuff in order to eat. Frustrated feelings set in and rebellion was burning inside of Prince. Sitting in front of the 7/11 by the motel at age 9, Jones knew he had to do something. He expressed his feelings to an older friend by the name of Ross Heem. Everyone called him” Ross Heem got green” and Prince never knew what it really meant. So, after expressing his feelings of action, Ross taught Jones how to Hustle, Re-Up, and Push. And a month later Jones was making a brick a week with his mentor “ Heem got Green”. So, not wanting to draw attention to himself or Ross. Jones didn’t tell his mom what he was doing and sent money to his mom by anonymous addresses and she didn’t complain. The rest Ross saved in his house. This cycle went on for about 2 months before they started changing positions and locations everyday. So, other pushers and hustlers aint know about them. This went on for about a year. Jones was 11 and around that time, after a day of hard pushing, Jones came home to room 201and an empty house greeted him. Along with a police officer taking Jones to foster care, separated from his mom and the sister he took care of. Jones was helpless. Being neglected everyday . Beat everyday. Because he was different . Anger. Terrible anger was found during the days and Jones went back to pushing with Ross. Still making money, Jones became a quiet boy , a small temper, and a rising fury. Nothing could stop him. Until one day, word of two pushers well known were killed and Ross told Jones not to worry. And the shit they were doing was on the D.L. Prince trusted him for the 2 years , they’ve been hustling together why not now? But Ross, still Grown-up, went to try bigger things he caught a plane up to Northfolk, V.A for a coke run. 2 weeks later, he came back shaken and white and vowed to never do it again. So, they stuck to pushing. But, Ross got a little greedy cause he had been robbed of his chain and money the week before in Northforlk. He wanted it back. So, he did solo overtime work. A week later he was killed in front that 7/11 he helped Jones make his first brick off of. The Sadness emotion came to him but fear and anger were more dominant and after Ross’s funeral Jones began hustling solo overtime just for The sake of Ross. The whole rebellion lasted 2 weeks and Jones was a Young, Smart but at the same time assed out boy. And it was here Jones said” I Quit”. Left the store and that’s when It happened.They pulled Up and Prince Ran Dropped the Slushie and Nachos and just where he was standing before the window shattered.Still running guns flaringBang BangWindows shattered and concrete cracked but Jones still ran on. Turned the corner down the street.BangTurned into and alley running weaving dodging praying for life. Tripped fell and but was back up in no time.Too Late.BANGOne hit his arm. No Time To look. They Left.Prince Jones Lived another day…..Jones got home still runningWent through the front doorAnd Blacked Out….Vague shapes and sounds reached himSpace was in the everlasting Blackness in his Coma…..2 days later Jones was homeThe many shots that were fired only three Jones felt hit him in total 6 bullets scuffed nicked and scrapped him on his body.None Life Threatening.But Prince Says After The incident he was changed.Things were clear to him.He saw things For what they were and not what they looked like.It was then Jones Realized he had a freed mind.In his house he did nothing but think and reminisce about times he had in his younger years.He was 5 and he sat in front of his radio and listened to every song and memorized them.He realized that he Could see music….Not unlike the rare synthesiaLike his own way of seeing thingsHe saw pictures and shaped too…But he also saw a box…with vivid colors inside…And music playing….Dreams of Space, Skateboards, Bikes, Music, Love, Girls, His Family, Ross, and The Dream.And Then His dream became clear.Jones could do whatever he wanted and his dream was telling him not to keep them inside and use them in life.“I Feel Its My job in Life” Jones Says to us.“ I feel God wants me to do this”But So on after realization things changed and Prince Jones did just that as everything right unfolded which told him he was on the right path.Now a 16 year old dude Prince “ The Cool NERD” Jones CEO Of a Spaced Out Crew That goes by The name of TMOON, Lives The Life God Intended Him to.
